Is it good to have a prayer journal?

It is really good to have a prayer journal for many reasons.

  • It helps us to stay focused while we pray.
  • It encourages us to pray every day.
  • It reminds us of how God answered our prayers when we look back at our previous entries and journals.
  • It helps us see how we have grown over the years.

But one of the best reasons is that when we are in an emotional state we are often thinking out of the right side of our brain. But when we journal, we move to the left side of our brain which is the more logical side.

By simply taking the time to write out our thoughts and prayers to God, we can move to a place where we can think more clearly.

A place where we remember that even when our world falls apart. The God who tenderly loves us is always holding onto our hearts.

He loves and cares for us more than we could imagine.

So, let’s keep falling on our knees before Him.

If you enjoyed this, then please share it!
